Vladan Koncar
Professor Vladan Koncar is Full Professor at ENSAIT, University of Lille, France, where he specializes in smart textiles and flexible sensors. He has served as Director of the GEMTEX laboratory (2009–2015), President of AUTEX (2007–2010), and currently leads international relations at GEMTEX. Author of over 300 scientific publications, he has chaired numerous international conferences and sits on several editorial boards. His research focuses on smart clothing, e-textiles, and modeling of complex systems. He has coordinated several national and European research projects, and in 2010 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Iasi, Romania.
