Diego MANTOVANI
Professor Diego Mantovani is the Director of Laboratory for Biomaterials and Bioengineering at Laval University, in Canada. Full professor in the Department of Mineral, Metallurgical, and Materials Engineering since 2010, senior scientist in regenerative medicine at the University Hospital Center of Quebec City. Diego Mantovani is a recognized world specialist in Biomaterials and Bioengineering, i.e. the science and engineering for the reparation and the regeneration of organs and tissue. Within his team, his works focus on surface modifications by plasma, thin polymer functional films, interactions between materials and their environment, degradable metals, scaffolds and bioreactors.
